BIG NEWS! The Two Star is expanding by 103 acres.  This will bring the ranch to 166 acres.

In early July 2026 the Two Star expanded by buying 40 acres of hay ground in Minnesota.

Nothing like a new calf. Born 10 minutes earlier on 6/24. 

Added a new tractor today for Father's Day!

Sprayed all the pastures and hayfield today. Great to have that done.

 Our oldest grandaughter from Minnesota came down with 3 friends. They loved the horses....but -

- they weren't to sure about the 2,000 lb bull when it wanted a treat!

even having dinner at the pool bar!

 Got our Pergola completed.  It is going to be a place for a lot more of Laurie's flowers. 

 We installed a new 20' cattle guard at our front gate. 

 On May 3rd the horses broke into the shop for a snack!

Just finished our 2nd annual men's retreat.  Wonderful time with great guys.

Lots of shooting, horse and cow treats, Skid-Steer Olympics, and storytelling. 

My brother Steve finally made it to the ranch.

In April, we acquired this beautiful buckskin as part of our herd.  We welcome "Triggy"  to the Two Star Ranch. 

On April 12th 4+ inches of rain in less than 5 hours overfilled all 7 of our livestock tanks. Then again, on May 2nd, we got 5 more inches! This is the Hayfield tank.   

Tank D3. With the drought, I was able to dig out and enlarge all the dry tanks. I kept telling myself, "one good, hard 3-4" rain storm and they will be filled". See the next picture 1 day later!

This is South pasture tank D3 after our April 12th 4" rain storm.  My prediction was perfect!

Our Spring calving season is upon us. Pirate comes through on 3/7!
